    Arbaminch and Dorze Village

The beautiful town of Arba Minch (Forty Springs) is located on the edge of Netch Sar National Park. Arba Minch is an ideal base to explore the southernmost of Ethiopia’s Rift Valley Lakes- Chamo and Abaya as well as the scenic Nech Sar National Park and the adorable Dorze villages at Chencha. The beautiful Nech Sar National Park is home to a handful of mammals and birdlife. A narrow stretch of beautiful mountain landscape locally known as God’s Bridge separates the two lakes. The forest along the forty springs is a very popular destination for swimming and trekking in addition to its cultural significance. Lake Chamo is frequently visited for its Nile Crocodiles, Hippos, and aquatic birds. The highland village of Chencha, home of the Dorze people, is known for its beautifully made bee-hive-shaped bamboo houses, vibrant music, and quality weaving.
